Relationship Status..

Some dates can go terribly wrong. (For ex. What is Worst?)
With an experience of some really bad dates I have concluded to a analysis that; if on earth any time I go out with a girl, there has to be a fiasco. So keeping away my emotional feeling about the privacy with girl (Or may be sexual feelings) I try to keep my friends around whenever I go out with “her” (Any of them).
But Bad days comes with a well-planned strategy while the good ones just pass waving hands like (another) “she” going out of house after the (you know what) good time. The day or to be precise the night came up with the event marked of (yet another) get together of friends at a friend’s place. Living out of home town for so called working purpose is a reason to get out of the everyday lecture of parents about the embarrassment they face every day when they see you half naked sleeping in your shitty room and thinking of what wrong they actually did “then” that gave birth to this creature (awesome one). Although this embarrassment is not over yet as the financial part of the creature is still with them.
So we were such creatures graduated from engineering and placed in awesome jobs doing marketing, customer relationship, BPO and all those stuff that wasn’t even close to the syllabus we studied. It was just these get together that was holding us and giving the courage to go on in a hope of the “miracle”. However each party costs around 500K each from the meager salary and huge debt from parents.
Party started with rape of some really awesome songs and recording sessions in smart phones of the super singers of the team. Every Engineer has a talent that he recognizes till the end of the four year course. But then the time has fled away and all that left is a really emotional story of murder of a talent, whose responsibility is evenly distributed among society, parents and the engineering college management. This is when one beer comes to an end.
The Girl friend part of the team do not support the fact of drinking and smoking for few days but later they the leaders of the gang with some well researched brands.  After everybody one beer down starts the real story.

Zhapatlela-1 and "First love of my life"

Today the theatrical trailer of the second installment of 1993 Marathi blockbuster got online and the flashes of memories replayed like that of cut-to-cut sequence in the promo of the film.
Firstly apologies to all my readers for my sudden disappearance. The reason must be known to you from my previous post which was also a promo of "MY SHORT-FILM 'ANA'". (No applauds please). To tell you the truth, I was on a spiritual journey of finding the new levels of expressing the flood of extensive, immense, huge ideas.... OK let's get back to the story.
So the '93 blockbuster starring Lakhsmikant Berde, Mahesh Kothare was a huge hit and is one of the only marathi films that was released overseas. (Applause NOW) Though that time ('93) it wasn't of much help to me (I was a kid then.... Loved, Cared, Praised, Appreciated.. What ever let's discus this on some other post, some day :'( ) it came into play when I was in 8th grade ('06).
There was this girl called Priya(Yo people THARKI RETURNS!!) who was strangely growing sexy almost everyday. I don't know whether I am right or wrong, but I noticed this change (You know!! Huge-Huge-ing-Huge-er) every morning in assembly prayer when everybody seriously prayed to God singing random bollywood songs with closed eyes, while I used to check on heavenly chicks and their manipulating features.(God's gift). I mean there were days when literally my eyes never cloud reach her face, when started staring her from feet. (And people used to say "Bada shareef ladka hai, kabhi nazar utha ke nahe dekhta".... Hehehe #devil's-secret).

Strange Game...(part 2)

All of us were demoted/ promoted to the standing position and now the secretary was in front of the inspector.
"So Mr. Secretary. Can you tell me Mr.Gandhi's daily routine?" asked the inspector leaning back on the sofa.
"Yes Sir.." He opened his diary. " He used to wake up at 4 in morning, do his early activities and come down at 4.45 to have break fast. After having break fast which took fifteen minutes to half an hour, he used to go into the library and read for two to four hours. At 7 as the news paper arrives he used to sit in the balcony and rad it for an hour having coffee. At 10 he used to leave for his lab which is few kilo meters  away from the house. Lunch would arrive at office at 1.30 in afternoon and a tea session with all his co-workers at 4. At 5.30 he used to come back home, refresh himself had one more tea, then sit in his cabin in his room to write his notes. mean while he also used to narrate me if there was any change in next days schedule. Dinner at 8.30 and off to bed at almost 10."
Every body was looking at him as he was reciting the secrets of the golden treasure.
"Hmm.. did he said something suspicious last night?" asked inspector.
"Yes sir.." he replied.
"What?" inspector asked leaning forward.
"He said one boy will come to meet me. I called him." was his answer.
All the eyes turned towards me. I was standing with an innocent face.
"So what's suspicious in it?" asked inspector.
"He didn't call any body since last ten years by himself. All his calls were made by me" replied the secretary.
"But I didn't get any call yesterday.." I popped.
The inspector showed me a palm. I shut my mouth.
"Why did he called the guy?" asked inspector.
"Actually he was going to make some changes in his will. May be that's why.." he replied.
"May be??"
"Yeah because he was going through his will since a few days"
"What was in his will?" asked the inspector.

Strange Game...

I was standing roadside with my bag looking at the natural beauty around. The trucks were exhausting beautiful black smoke while the wheels were throwing tiny silicon particles which entered into noses and brought out the wonderful sneeze with some amazing semi-solid material.
I was standing on the road waiting for someone to receive me at 5 o'clock in morning. The huge trucks travelling around me with huge speed were teasing me for they were moving with a destination and I was as stationary as a pole. A complex feeling was entering my mind that I was fooled by some one and my entire monthly savings with a day was wasted.
   One week ago..
I was busy doing some very overcautious experiments with explosives when I got the call. (By the way I am a scientist trying to blow away the world creating some extra ordinary atomic explosive but could not create more than fireworks for STANDARD).
"Hello, Can I talk to Mr. Amish Joshi?" from other side of phone.
"Yes I am speaking, Can I know who is it?" (As I got very few calls for me in lab, I tried to be more generous).
"Good after noon sir, I am secretory of Mr. Ashish Gandhi from Dehradun. Can I have a minute talking with you.
My ears could not believe the words. Mr. Gandhi was one of the renowned scientist of India who had worked on many nuclear projects for the country. At last  my efforts had brought me fruits. Good bye full-zhadi, farewell lawagi  now I am set for some big-bags (yaahwieeeee......).
"Yeaaaaa.... yes... I am... please tell me what can I do for you?" I replied (Dhinkachika dhinkachika....)
"Actually Mr. Joshi saw your reports and they are very excited to meet you. So how much time are you making him wait is what he wants to know?" was the reply cum question from other side.
"I.. I am so... one minute" I put down the receiver on the table and started to express my happiness with the  most traditional zhinga-la-la-hu dance of our country. Soon I was done and was back on the phone " When  can..I mean When should I come to meet him...I mean is there any time scheduled for me?" I asked him.

THE BASTARDS-5

Police van, roads full of pits, company of top class rapists of the city and myself behind the bars. These were he only days left for me to be in with my bastard friends.
"Can I make a call?" I asked a officer sitting by side.
"No, I am out of balance" He replied.
  "I have a mobile"
"Then make a last call" he said.
  "Last call?" I was surprised.
"Because when I see you using your mobile officially then I'll snatch it and break it into pieces like a ruthless police officer" he replied with a devil smile.
I swallowed the air in fear. Though I had a antique cell phone model but still loved it very much. life was much important and if I stay in jail for the night then it will be the end of my life in society.
I decided to make a call. "Hello...Rocky please save me buddy or my life would be ruined. Please help me dude" I wept as the call was connected.
"Don't worry dude, We are on our way. Just wait for fifteen minutes." saying this he hung up.
"What in the hell is he going to do in fifteen minutes" words were dancing in my mind.
Suddenly a head fell on my shoulder and a current flew though my entire body. It was of a dirty looking man who was in deep sleep at 2 o'clock. He must be doing the same what he missed at the brothel.

THE BASTARDS-4

Hyderabad is the busiest city I have ever seen. The crowded streets with posters of verities of  biriyani's at cheaper rates was amazing us. The enormous structure which resembled ancient prosperity of Indian architecture were visible at every kilometer. Along with it buildings with latest architecture were also eye catching, though it was not an out come of Indian architecture intelligence.
Meeting people over there was a very different experience. The city had maximum number of I.T professionals and the professionals were professionals in real sense. These people have the knowledge of almost every Language used for software development and when asked how they know them all, they said "Every language is a successor of some other one and that in turn is a successor of some other, hence the basic concept behind every language is the same. Having thorough learning of basics can make you perfect in any programming language in the world".
This is where we lack. We jump into new languages every semester washing away the previous one, hence the overall knowledge becomes more or less equals to zero.
"You know what?, there are many people who pretend to be intelligent but very few people who are genius. If used right people at right place, our country can make a huge fortune" Meenakshi said when we were leaving out of the I.T complex.
  "Very true" replied Vicky.

THE BASTARDS-3

Twenty Thousand INR were sufficient for three of us to enjoy the trip in royal style. The news of four monitors missing from the lab became a sensation next day, but that was not going to affect the trip as every thing was booked. The attendant had a suspicious eye on us, but if he had demonstrated his doubt in public then it would have been like hitting his own leg with an ax, as he would have been caught into unnecessary interrogation of management. Also his previous records which were deep buried, which in turn involved many big names of the college also didn't allow him to doubt on us or anybody else.
Viky was the last person in college we would imagine to mess up with. Many said that he had a secret crush on Meenakshi and didn't liked her roaming with us. But being the class representative he had many restrictions.
"Hey Meenu, Why don't you occupy your seat in the bus?" Vicky came up to Meenakshi who was very worried standing out side the bus.
"Thanks Vicky" she gave him a smile saying SHUT-UP-AND-DO-YOUR-WORK.
  "Waiting for someone" he asked.
  Meenakshi didn't respond.
  "Bastards, right?"
Now, this was end of her tolerance. She turned to him and was ready with her weapons to fire at him when we arrived on my antique bike, triple seated.

THE BASTARDS-2

The plan was FULL-PROOF. As always. We were going to follow the same plan that we undertook one year to rob the physics lab. One man was going to stand at the door, another man on the terrace and one inside the room. The man at door will watch for any danger, the man inside will pack the things into a bag and will attach to    rope tied at the window. The man on the terrace will pull the bag by the rope and the things to be stolen will be out of the lab. Next thing will be to get the far end of the building which is closer to the college boundary wall and with full force the bag will be thrown out of the campus.
This was the previous plan. A well designed, framed and well executed but failed as we didn't thought about the breakage of utensils as we threw the bag from the height. Though some of the utensils like thick glass beakers and iron gauge were not broken and generated an amount of almost 1500 bucks.
But this time, the shot worth 20,000 bucks. Hence a lot more handling and care was to be employed. Rocky was busy on terrace making a pulley like machine which he called will do the vengadium-leviyosa task. He had brought a steel pipe and two copper wires almost 100 meters in length. He fixed the pipe horizontally with a iron rod inside which made the pipe roll freely on it. The rod was fixed to wall with two connectors on either side. The bag was huge enough to contain four LCD monitors, and was tied with the copper wire on both the side for pulling it.
Ishan was positioned on the entry of the lab to see whether someone was coming. I was inside to clean the Lab.
Thursday was chosen as the day, as the trip was scheduled from Saturday to the entire coming week. Also Thursday had five lectures in succession and It was damn sure that no one was going to attend the practicals. The lab will be empty and the period during which the attendant will be having his lunch will be used for the robbery.

THE BASTARDS

"BULL SHIT.. I am not coming".
 "But why??"
 "I don't have money"
"But why don't you have money?"
 "Because I don't have money"
Rocky (The ultimate Bastard) and Ishan (The stupid bastard) were yelling on me (The unluckiest bastard). Our college had organized an industrial visit (So called) to Hyderabad and I was in no mood to join. Actually I had the mood but scarcity of money made it "sour grapes" for me.
"You have got money to spend on that crap vehicle, you have money for those bull shit novels and you don't have money for the academic tour, right?" asked Rocky.
"Ya, that's right. And for your kind information that crap drives us home. So please before saying any word about it think about your way back home because if she hears it and gets angry, then we have a big reason to worry" I said pointing towards my grand father's age bike.
"Oh man, we'll figure out some way to get you money. Isn't it Rocky?" said Ishan winking towards Rocky.
  Rocky gave back his ULTIMATE-DEVIL'S-SMILE.
"I..AM..HAVING A very bad feeling...." I drank the last drop of saliva in my throat.

Boycott LOVE...

Guys,Today I am going to discuss a very crucial, deadly topic that is responsible for ruining the young generation. LOVE. You propose a girl she says NO, You again propose a GIRL she says I'M CONFUSED, you once again propose the GIRL and tada....SHE IS YOUR GIRL FRIEND. Have you ever noticed the degradation or up-gradation in the thinking of the GIRL day by day. I mean the girl who was never interested in you one day becomes confused another day and the third day RELATIONSHIP STATUS CHANGED!!
Is it because the boy used to tell her everyday how she felt about her, and for taking rid of the boring speech every day, she agreed?
Or is it because the boy was truly in love with her and the girl realized his feelings?
Or is it because some one told her that the boy has a very heavy bank balance!!
In anyway girls don't have any feelings for the boys, it's always the boys who EAT-SHIT!!
  HOW??
  I'LL TELL YOU...

When you are in relationship with the girl, you come across many truth's that you may not even know being a friend. She says"I always loved you, but you know my family problems" (How does family problems relate to not loving a boy, and if it does then are the problems over now?) "I always wanted to talk with you, but you were always busy with others" (Which means I knew you will come crawling on my knees some day or the other)..

Mirage of Eternity (Part-6)

Three years and six months earlier…
“So he is gonna meet me?” asked Mr. Sengupta. (Gauri’s Father)
  “Yes” replied Gauri.
“You mean he is gonna come here?”
“Yes DAD” she said in a normal assuring tone which was troubling Mr. Sengupta.
I boarded off Gauri from her return journey to home and as a payback of “Not-Saying-Sorry” for last six months I had to take her on dinner. Next day however I witnessed Gauri’s happiest moment ever. She had been waiting her convocation for like lifetime. If she had missed this day, then she would have been cursing me for her entire lifetime. Gauri dressed in her formal dress that was a pure starched white salwar-suit was looking as an angel landed on the earth. Though she was not amongst the girls who were being felicitated on the dais, still she was the happiest women in the entire audience. Actually she was the only women I was staring at…
After the convocation ceremony I promised her that I would be visiting her on Sunday to have a coffee with her father and in reply she said “Bring a helmet along, My Dad my shower lots of love on you that may include tea pot, bowls, plates and other crockery on the tea table”.
“Well I can guess that, after all it’s Sengupta family’s grand welcome for the son-in-law” I replied boarding her bag in the storage compartment of the Bus.
With a soft hug she climbed up in the bus and I went near the window where she was sitting. I could see through her eyes how badly she was going to miss me. Same condition was mine.
When the bus started leaving and I stepped back she said in a soft innocent voice “Do shave before coming” and I gave her a smile of assurance that I be spending my hours before the meeting in a Salon.
“Girls cannot understand how cool it looks” said Sandeep who was standing by me waiting for another bus with his Laptop writing something in it.

“You mean to say he will sit in front of me and discuss about you marring him” asked Mr. Sangupta raising his eyes.
  “I…guess so…” Gauri replied smiling.
“You are such a stupid fool girl. Didn’t you find any Hindu boy, though not a Doctor?” He yelled on her.
  “Nope…” she replied.
“Then why do you even bother to ask us if you have decided your fate with that ugly, barbarian, uneducated, uncivilized guy?” he yelled even more.

Mirage of Eternity (part-5)

Present Day                                                                                                                                                                                  Afternoon, Near Regional MOSQUE
Afternoon was the time for the people to gather together and offer prayers to the ALLAH in the mosque. Every person in the city was aware about the tragic incident that took place in the morning. It was risky today to get out for the normal people. But again this was the crucial time when they have to show their true affection towards the GOD.
Today if they don’t offer the prayers to GOD than it would be the most selfish deed of any human being on earth.
The people got out of their houses with traditional caps on their head. They knew that their GOD was going to safeguard them. They were wrong. Today even God had closed his eyes…
The prayers began sharp at its usual time and the sound fell on the ears of Pandit. His senseless body experienced a shiver as the idea struck his mind. The time for the revenge has come.
Pandit started walking towards the mosque and the others started following him. The sword was in his hand as it was a part of his body. Some people sensed what was in his mind; hence they left the crowd in middle of the way.
In some minutes they were in front of the Mosque. The crowd surrounded the entire area in front. Every one holding swords and trishuls in their hand and waiting…
“Friends” Pandit said turning towards the crowd “They are praying to their God. Thanking him for what he made possible in the morning. They think they have won. But that was just their part of the play, now it’s our turn”
There was a roar in the crowd. The people praying inside sensed it. They sensed their fate.
“Let us offer gifts to our God with the blood of these murderers” said Pandit and marched towards the Gate.
That was the beginning of the cruel bloodshed. It was written in the holy quaran that “when a innocent die, its effect will be sensed by entire humanity”. It was a forecast that came true.
No child, No adult, No man, No women No living could make his way out of the mosque. Pandit was waving his sword aimlessly. The vision of burnt bodies at the station gave him invincible power. The eyes full of tears made him blind. The headless man lying on his lap in the morning, the unrecognized body of his son and the innumerable dead families must be feeling happy now was all he thinking. Pandit had forgotten all his morals, teachings he had gained through the study of the holy books he studi

Mirage of Eternity (part-4)

Four years earlier
The post campus period was worse than expected. The regular six months of training in all most all the metropolitan cities of India almost broke my connection with the social world. There were time when Prakash and I used to call and share our experiences on job every hour, which  then turned to days, week and now almost a month.
But though in a very tight schedule I had always been supported and encouraged by a voice. Gauri and I though haven’t met more than twice since last six months, were closer to each other than ever. She used to tell about how eagerly she waited for completion of her graduation. Not to be a doctor but for the convocation. She used to tell about her experiments and her projects which only contained of cutting and repairing human bodies. She told me that many times they were mistaken in stitching the wounds of the body in the practical then she just used to cover it with the bandage.
“Well If I ever got fractured take me to the topper of your class” I teased her on the call.
“Don’t worry baby, I will personally take care of you and that too without any charge” she chuckled.
  “Oh my GOD”
She laughed and my heart felt the joy.
“OK serious now” she turned her tone “Have you talked about me with your parents?”
  “Hmm…”
  “So what did they say?”
  “What do you expect?”
  There was a silence then.
“Oh that is what you expect huh… You want my parents to reject you so that you get rid of me. Not any time soon baby” I teased her telling the approval from my side.
“Oh no…I mean…Really they are going to accept me?” she asked in a surprised and a joyful tone. Though I was hundreds of kilometers away from her but still I felt the drop from her eyes. Or maybe it was just from mine?
“What’s wrong in it? We both are capable, independent and will earn enough to support them fulfilling our needs. What more hey accept?” I said.
“Your parents are really good people Aquib”
  “Why? Aren’t yours?” I teased.
  “Actually no”
  “What?” I was surprised.

Mirage of Eternity (part-3)

Four years and six months earlier…                                                                                                                                   Campus recruitment INFOSYS
The day has arrived for which every engineer waits for almost four years after high school. Though there are very few who could make their place in the complex qualification of the company. I was amongst one of them. My name was last on the list of the applicable students and first on the list of students being interviewed. Perfect.
Many of our seniors had said that the interview is most critical situation of the life. They ask questions and expect answer that is most simple, however we try to implement complex logic to it and fail. OK lesson number one give simple answers.
But if they ask programming question they expect you to answer the question in terms of complexity of program. Lesson number two forget lesson number one.
I was standing in the boy’s toilet trying to remember all the lessons by the seniors. The interview was going to start in an hour and I was afraid as if was being sent on the war field.
“Hey Aquib!” Prakash entered “someone is looking for you” he said smiling.
  “Who?”I asked in irritation.
“Doctor doctor…” Prakash would not call her by name instead he used “DOCTOR” as her name.
“What? Here?” I asked being horrified by her presence in the college. Now I have to give a special interview in entire campus.
I chained up and got out of the toilet where I saw her surrounded by all the boys with their tongue’s out as they have seen a chocolate cake. She was wearing a pick top and blue jeans and was looking extremely hot.
The meeting six months ago in CCD had started a new schedule in my time table. Now I used to catch 7 PM return train instead of 5.30. The one hour was reserved for Gauri which we generally spent in CCD talking. Actually she used to talk I just used to see her pink lips moving…

Mirage of Eternity (Part-2)

Five years earlier(cont..)
“Are you sure you want to call her” asked Prakash.
  “Yap”
“Think once again…It may create a mess and you remember how she was” Prakash was constantly warning me not to call her. But watching her phone number on the ID card had fused up my senses. I was very determined to call her and tell her about her lost bag.
“She must’ve been worried Prakash. She has lost her ID card, I can’t even imagine how bad she must be going through without it” I replied.
Though I had a very strong reason to call her but that was not my intension. I just wanted to hear her voice. Once, may be last time. We had found her contact number on her ID card and that had awakened the helping and the soft-hearted person within me.
We went to the STD booth near the station and I went inside the chamber to call her while Prakash waited outside. I picked up the receiver and saw the ID card to dial the number. Her face was still there smiling, beautiful charming.
“Hey call her quickly” shouted Prakash from outside.
  “Ya…ya…” I nodded my head.
I started dialing the number. For initial five numbers everything was normal and after my hand started trembling, my heart started beating faster and finally at the last number my fingers stopped. I looked outside Prakash was looking at me. He raised his eyebrow. I gave back a smile and dialed the last number. There were few beeps in the beginning and then the phone connected to the other side. As the ringing on other side started, my heart beating also fastened and pulse started running low.
“Hello” a strong firm male voice answered from the other side.
Is it a wrong number? Why would she give a wrong number on her ID? Typical girl.
“Is it Miss sengupta’s number?” I gave a blind formal start.
“No it’s Rajesh” the voice replied.
“Oh sorry, I think I dialed wrong number”
“No it’s sengupta’s number, Just Mr. instead of Miss” the man chuckled.
   She is married???
“Oh…I wanted to talk to Miss Gauri, she forgot her purse in the train” I said in a down voice. She is married…it’s over..
“She is such a…Are you from railway authority?” he enquired.
“No sir, actually we travelled together in the train”
“Ok I give you her number call her and handover the purse… I am in Mumbai, she is in Nagpur” he said.
“Actually why don’t you call her and ask her to call me, actually I have to rush for the exams right now and am running out of balance too” My heart was totally broken. I gave him my cell number and hung up the phone.
“What happened?” asked Prakash seeing my contracted face.
“Nothing” I replied in a nervous voice and headed towards our college which took almost fifteen minutes from the station. She didn’t call in the period. I watched the cell for the last time and switched it off as I had to enter into the exam hall. But only cycle roaming in my mind was… She is married!! She is married…Is she married???

Present day…                                                                                                                                                                            MLA’s house…
A man entered into the house. The guards at the gate and the door saluted him on the way. The man did not respond. He was not in the condition to, or may be physically he was here but his senses were still in front of the burnt train.
“This is the most shameful event in the Indian history. Because of some psychic fellows an entire community’s head has been laid down. I have personally called CM and discussed the issue. A high level investigation is going to be conducted that would find out who the hell was behind this inhuman massacre. CM has declared this as a terrorist activity and the guilty would be punished mercilessly. Until then we have to remain calm, we are the followers of Gandhi and believe in his quote that an eye for an eye would make entire world blind. So please maintain peace and have trust in the Government” The MLA was saying.
“They were in thousands” someone said from behind and all the eyes turned behind to see who he was. It was Dubey a Pandit from the Shiva’s temple. His eyes were red and filled with tears which resembled anger “And a thousand people cannot go psycho on a same day” his voice trembled and he broke into tears.
“What do you want to say Panditji?” asked MLA.
“I just want to say that you are a fool or the CM has shut your mouth with a huge amount. This was not a psychic activity sir, it was a cold blooded murder of the sewaks” he shouted back.
There was a shock throughout the hall. The younger ones who were silence because of MLA’s orders also stood up to support the pandit. This was the truth that was in every one’s heart but anyone could not go in oppose of the MLA. But pandit has seen the cruel bloodshed by his own eyes and that had eliminated all the fear of MLA or any higher order person.
The Pandit stood up from his place and took out a sword hung on the wall. He held the handle of the sword by left hand and made a cut on the thumb with the tip of the sword.
“I pledge in front of the holy fire, wind and the earth that I will not intake a sip of water or food until and unless I cut every bastard who did this” the pandit announced.
“Panditji, what are you saying? You are promoting a violent activity and if you do so then neither I nor any worker of my party will be supporting you.” The MLA also stood back.
“They will not be supporting me, then they will be supporting the inhuman activity happened in the morning” he said turning around. Almost all the workers had joined him and now were following him.
The MLA stood up in anger and shouted “Why the hell are you so worried about the bloodshed, this is not for the first time this had happened in godhra?”
Pandit paused at the place where he was. He turned around. His eyes had turned redder and were filled with tears. He must not be able to see clearly through the wet eyes. “My son was a Ram-sewak, and he sacrificed his life for the sake of his duty towards his job. Now it’s my duty towards him to finish it all what they have started”

Earlier…
When you are in final year, it doesn’t matter how you write or what you write. The only thing matter is can you write. There are thousands of students and only tens or twenties of checkers in the university, the answer doesn’t matter to them the only thing that matters is the length. The more you write the more marks you get.  So following the same policy I completed my paper with 3 additional supplements.
But throughout the paper my eyes were constantly at the bag. I was afraid if she calls and my cell ring in between. Then I remembered I switched it off. I should not have. What if she is calling? What if she could not attend her college due her missing ID card? And I am damn sure she must be out of money. WHAT IF…?
Then another thing stroked that said she is married…
But she looks so young how can she be married?
I was totally confused. I decided to give away the answer sheet and get out of exam hall. As I got up Prakash who was sitting a bench or two behind started cursing. I signaled him that I had a severe headache and I am leaving. And in return he gave me a FU…
The first thing I did after getting out of the exam hall was checking the mobile. As expected there were about 15 missed calls from an unknown number. I gave a return call. The phone rang for a second and a sweet, soft voice landed on my ears.
  “hello..”
“Hi am Aquib, sorry I switched off my cell I was in exams” I said stammering.
“Oh ya actually DAD told me” she said.
“He called your Dad?” how mean he told everything to her dad, by now her entire family must have known about this.
“HE…WHO??” she asked giving stress on the last words.
  “Your husband” I answered.
“My husband, you called my husband. Shit… you ruined my first impression on him”
  “First impression???” I was confused.
“Ya you called him and told him about this. I have not even met him.” She giggled from the other side.
The girl is out of mind, Is she a medical student or a patient?
“You called my dad, fool” she said after she was finished giggling.
“Oopss!! He said I am Mr. Sengupta,  so I thought he was your…” I was stupid, foolish out of my mind…
“Ha.Ha..Ha…”she laughed “You are cute I like you” the words entered my ears travelled through my veins filtered through thousands of tissues got compiled in the brain and finally landed in the heart.
“So when are you going to return my bag?” she asked.
“Oh ya, when?..Where do I come to return the bag?” I asked stammering.
“Let’s meet up at CCD near railway station, what say?”
I have heard that medical girls are very forward but this was my first experience. Of girls, medical girls and of CCD also.
They say a lot can happen over coffee, indeed a lot happened; I met the girl whom I used to imagine in my dreams. She was the same but still different. I thought as I knew her for ages but still there was lot unexplored, unknown to me. This meeting cum date in CCD changed my life for once and for all…

Mirage of Eternity (Part-1)

27th February '02, 7.45 AM
3 Kms away from Godhra station;

There was a wave of holy spirituality in the train. People were singing the songs of lord Rama. Their lives had been enlightened by the great yagya happening in Aayodhya. The entire train was occupied by the “Kar-sewaks” or the “Ram-sewaks” returning from the sacred place of Aayodhya.
All of them were tired to hell as they were chanting the name of their holy God during the yagya and also during the to-and-fro journey. They all were in a hurry to get home and ever eye was waiting for the train to reach the station, as the train was already 4 hours late.
But the destiny had stored a different plan for the innocents, which was going to change the history forever.
As the train arrived near the station, the passengers started making rush on the door to get out. The station appeared quite empty in beginning and the hawkers who used to grab their customers on running train were absent. It was a surprise for the regular passengers. The hawkers used to harass the passengers convincing them buying their products.
But still their absence generated a little discomfort among the passengers. Something was wrong, was the only feeling in their minds.
Then in front they saw a mob. A deadly mob of over 500 people was waiting eagerly to welcome the train, with huge swords and petrol bombs. All of their faces were covered and anger dropped like molten magma from their eyes. They were all determined. Their aim was locked. Their task was cleared.
“Run… the mobs have got the weapons” someone shouted in the train.
The sentence made every single person sitting in the train aware of what was happening out side. They tried to peep out of the window. Only thing they could see was the angry mobs in both side of the train.
“Attack...” someone announced and the cruel bloodshed began. The mob with covered faces entered in to the coach and started cutting every human being in their way. The people were trapped from both the sides and had no chance to escape. No one could protest no cry was heard nothing could stop this bloodshed.
The armed mobs were inside the train while some unarmed were outside.
One of the mobs then picked up the petrol bomb and raised his hand. It was the signal for the others. The others also did the same in the response.
“This is a warning to those who are in favor to build the temple. The Jama will be rebuild” he shouted and threw the bomb with full acceleration. The bomb entered in to the train through the window and a blast of fire came out in second.
The others also threw their bombs. The entire train was burning and flames were rising above creating a black fog.
No one could get out of the train. The bodies were lying burnt on the floor and on the track. None of them were in a condition to be recognized. The children women wept and died watching the scene in front of them. The rest who could make were killed by the armed mobs.
The humanity was feeling ashamed. This was the cruelest face of the mankind. The most unfortunate thing was the train. The train that resembled peace purity and the peace was shattered into pieces. The train was SABARMATI-EXPRESS…
**********************************************************************************

Five years earlier…
“Hey…wake up” I felt a terrible shatter throughout my body. It was Prakash who shook me with his full power. I opened my eyes and watched out of the window.
“It’s Sewagram, it will take us an hour more for Nagpur station” replied him again closing my eyes.
“How the hell can you sleep in this earth shattering train? I am not even able to read a single line” he said.
It was the exam time for Engineering and hence every student travelling in the train was seen deeply involved in their books. I had studied a lot last night and now was in no mood to so more. Also being in final year reduces the stress of subject being BACK, Thanks to Nagpur University. I didn’t believe in the studying-till-the-last-minute fact as I know it never works. I mean if you are not able to mug an answer in an entire semester what miracle are you going to perform in the last minute?
“Hey Aquib… Will you please tell me in short what this quiescent point is? It is very IMP for 3 marks” asked Prakash.
A typical Engineer, striving for single mark…
The train stopped at the Ajni-junction and I finished teaching Prakash the quiescent point phenomenon. I saw outside from the window. The station was empty as always. There were some newspaper sellers on the very far end of the station. Except him there was no human being visible. Although many living beings were visible like dogs, huge rats, and cockroaches.
I turned back to Prakash was chanting loudly the phenomenon ignoring the outer world. This was the best way to mug any answer and if want to be a successful Engineer then you have to be a quality mugger.
I gave him a smile and again closed my eyes. After a second or two I heard some people quarrelling. I opened my eyes. I saw a huge man who was sitting on a window side seat and a girl was quarreling with him.
“At least give us a seat, If you don’t want us to study” she said loudly.
“Madam, I am sitting here for last hour and I’ll get off at the next stop. You can sit here after” the man said.
“The next one is the last stop” she said.
This is normal when you travel in a train. I have never witnessed a journey without such a quarrel. I stood up and went by side of the girl.
“You can sit there…” I was paused in middle of my sentence. Those eyes didn’t let me say anything. She was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Her lovely pretty brown deep eyes with a slight amount of surma applied to it were looking very extra ordinary. The long hairs were nicely tied up. She must have applied a little bit of pink lipstick that made her rosy lips look more beautiful. She wore a blue jeans and a white top with perfect combination of accessories. She had a white apron hanging on one hand while a handbag on the opposite shoulder. She must be a medical student.
She went and sat on my seat without even noticing me. I went near the door and stood their holding the bars. But my eyes had lost the focus. Though I was looking forward my eyes were seeing behind. They wanted to watch the eternal beauty for their lifetime. I turned behind to see her. She was sitting in the opposite direction hence I could not have direct view of her. A small boy was sitting in opposite seat carrying a steel box full of ladoos. I could see her in the image created on the box.
I tried to look sideways but my eyes didn’t allow me. My heart wanted that this journey would never end.
In five minutes we reached the Nagpur station. She stood up in a hurry and got out of the train as fast as she could. My eyes were fixed on where she was going, but my legs didn’t want to follow her. I followed her, a step or two then paused on the place watching her go. She covered her face with a scarf while walking and vanished in the ocean of crowded station.
“Hey Aquib, wait” shouted Prakash from behind.
“Did you saw the girl who was sitting in your place?” he asked me.
     “Yes why?”
     “Where is she?”
     “In my pocket” I replied.
“Don’t joke yaar... Have you seen where she went?” he asked being annoyed by my joke.
“But why are you so worried about her buddy?” I asked him in surprise.
“She forgot her purse in the train. Here it is” he forwarded a black purse to me. It looked expensive. I opened the chain of the purse and found an identity card on the top.
“See if it has some contact number of hers, or we will hand over the purse to the railway authority. They will deal with it” said Prakash.
But my eyes could not move away from a part on that card. Her picture. I turned my eyes to the other part that showed her name. It was Gauri Sengupta, student of third year Medical…

Present…
The Sabarmati express was burning and the black smoke had occupied over a large area around the station. The burnt bodies were shattered all over the place. Some were recognizable while many were not even in a single piece. The whole railway station was turned into a cemetery.
A man entered into the station. He was wearing a saffron dhoti and had a scarf of saffron color around his neck. His eyes were damped and his entire body was shivering watching the vision in front of him.  He stepped into the dead bodies lying search in for someone in them.
All of them appeared the same. Burnt. The black ash was all over the station. Nothing was left except it. No living was visible in the area. Or maybe his eyes didn’t want to see anybody alive in such painful condition.
Suddenly the man stopped watching a dead body. It had a locket of lord Rama in his neck. The body below was in good condition but the head was stucked below another body. May be he was alive. The man lowered and put a hand below the body and pulled up.
A sudden shock travelled throughout his body. Rama has protected the body part below him. What If he had tied the locket on his forehead what If…?
The man screamed out at his highest pitch holding the headless body and started weeping seeing the most inhuman, cruel and beastly act in human history.
